Financial Information
Since 1992, AIHA has been awarded more than $370 million in U.S. Government grants, which we have leveraged by an additional $300 million in in-kind contributions of professional time and material resources from our partners at more than 210 U.S. hospitals, health systems, and academic institutions.
AIHA takes great pride in our work and maximizes every dollar we receive. We strive for efficient spending that ensures that the greatest possible program services reach areas with the greatest need. We understand that donors consider good financial leadership and transparency to be an essential quality of a charitable organization. For that reason, AIHA’s IRS Form 990s as well as our complete, audited financial statements are available for your review.
We encourage you to investigate before you donate. View our financial history below or click on the links for independently verified information about AIHA’s finances.
AIHA has more than a quarter-century of experience working with host country governments, donors, and other key national and international stakeholders to address critical public health issues such as HIV/AIDS and other infectious diseases, maternal and child health, primary healthcare, emergency medicine, and a broad range of health professions education and development.
