American International Health Alliance has strengthened health systems and trained health workers around the world for nearly 30 years. Our work was made possible by thousands of supporters, volunteers, and staff like you, who generously contribute, time, expertise, resources, and dollars to make a difference in the lives of millions.
As AIHA continues our work, we are looking to the future of our organization and how we can utilize our successful model and dedicated supporters to make an even greater impact worldwide.
Traditional approaches to strengthen health systems and improve health outcomes are often neither cost-effective nor sustainable because they are not fully driven by local stakeholders. At AIHA, we do development differently. AIHA’s New Strategic Plan for 2022-2025 outlines our goals and approach for the future.
The core of AIHA’s work is supported by you and thousands of other like minded people around the globe and we want you to be involved in shaping our future. That’s why we have launched a Friends, Family, and Alumni Network (FFA). We would like you to join our network and be involved in shaping the future of AIHA.
Using the Power of Partnerships to Leverage Donor Dollars
Together with our partners, we’ve made amazing strides toward improving maternal and child health, mitigating the impact of infectious diseases such as HIV and tuberculosis, preventing or managing non-communicable diseases, and introducing more effective emergency medical services.
We’re proud of our accomplishments, but building sustainable health system capacity is a difficult and long-term endeavor.
