What is CDC1950?
The goal of AIHA’s capacity strengthening projects is to ensure that KP-led organizations have all the systems in place to receive USG-funding to further address the needs of their communities and contribute to reaching 95-95-95 targets. This project was implemented from 2019 to 2021 to strengthen key populations (KP) led civil society organizations in 7 countries. This project was funded and made possible by a grant to AIHA from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Training and Mentorship Materials:
With support from CDC, AIHA delivered approximately 50 trainings and 1,000 hours of mentorships to CSOs. We are sharing these resources so that anyone can have access to them, learn from them, and utilize/modify them according to their needs. This resource library includes informative presentations, teaching schedules and agendas, and examples of templates that cover the topics of human resources, finance management, and social
enterprise. We delivered trainings in 7 countries and engaged local consultants to teach and provide one-on-one mentorship. Selected materials that are shared include materials on human resources developed by Manasseh Igyuh from Nigeria, finance management materials presented by Ameh Daniel from Nigeria, and materials on social enterprise presented by Blessed Silavwe from Zambia and Yakubu Mama Dauda from Nigeria.
