AIHA’s programs in Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia are funded primarily through a series of cooperative agreements with USAID and focus helping these nations in transition make sustainable improvements to their healthcare delivery systems. Since 1992, AIHA has established partnerships and programs in the following countries spanning Eurasia: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan.
