A leader in providing Russian-language information to healthcare professionals since its founding, AIHA furthered this commitment by expanding its Web presence to include the EurasiaHealth Knowledge Network. This innovative Internet-based program affords access to current information on health-related topics ranging from infection control and family medicine to medical informatics and health promotion.
The first component of the Network—jointly created by AIHA and Medical Advocates for Social Justice—is a key Internet source of Russian-language information on the prevention and management of HIV/AIDS. This section has evolved into the EurasiaHealth AIDS Knowledge Network (EAKN), which houses hundreds of evidence-based resources on HIV and AIDS.
