HIV/AIDS Information Resource Centers

What We DoHIV/AIDS › HIV/AIDS Information Resource Centers

Part of AIHA’s highly successful Learning Resource Center project, the HIV/AIDS Information Resource Centers are managed by staff volunteers who are responsible for providing training on how to find relevant information that can be applied effectively to local policies, practices, and conditions.

The primary objective of HIV/AIDS Information Resource Centers is to serve the information and communication technology needs of healthcare professionals caring for people living with HIV/AIDS, but staff also proactively work to make the resources of the Center accessible to other clinicians, patients, and the public at large as a way to share information, improve access to care, reduce stigma, and stem the spread of HIV.
