From 2000-2004, AIHA spearheaded a Clinical Practice Guideline (CPG) Pilot Initiative to support collaboration among partners—mainly those involved in the provision of primary care services.
Partners involved in AIHA’s primary healthcare program and their institutions shared similar concerns and they worked together to facilitate changes in clinical practice by developing and implementing guidelines, standardizing recommendations, and reducing duplication of effort. These efforts were guided by a steering committee and reinforced by a series of skills-building workshops. Common public health threats such as asthma, diabetes, and hypertension were addressed through this initiative.

Clinical Practice Guidelines Process Manual
This manual provides physicians, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and other healthcare professionals involved in the organization and delivery of patient care services with practical information about developing, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based clinical practice guidelines.Chest Pain: Clinical Practice Guideline for Primary HealthCare Physicians
This guideline was developed by the members of the Armenia Clinical Practice Guideline Expert Group. It covers issues of chest pain diagnosis and treatment both in pediatric and adult patients.
