Recognizing that the health of a family depends on the health of the women who nurture its members, AIHA’s primary care partnerships place a strong focus on providing comprehensive care for women of all ages. This includes educating women and adolescent girls about the importance of taking responsibility for their own health.

Partners at AIHA’s primary care clinics throughout the former Soviet Union offer a whole spectrum of breast health services ranging from patient education and outreach to clinical breast exams and mammograms. Primary care partnerships that have placed special focus on breast health include:
